Teacher: Good afternoon, children. Spring break is coming soon, and we will go on trips. Our class was divided into two groups: one will travel along the Golden Ring of Russia, and the second will travel to the UK.

Teacher: The Golden Ring of Russia is a popular tourist route that includes eight cities: Sergiev Posad, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov the Great, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Suzdal, Vladimir. This tourist route is over 50 years old. You will see the Rostov Kremlin—the residence of the city's metropolitans, built in the second half of the 17th century and located on the shores of Lake Nero. The Kremlin is a complex of religious and economic buildings, surrounded by a high defensive wall with 11 towers. The oldest building in the Kremlin is the Assumption Cathedral of the early 16th century, built before the construction of the Kremlin complex. You will also visit Lake Pleshcheyevo. Here Peter I once began to build the "Amusing Flotilla", which became the basis of the entire Russian fleet. The boat "Fortuna" of Peter the Great's time is exhibited in the local museum. The famous Shchurovo settlement museum is located in Suzdal. This is a real reconstruction of the settlement of the ancient Slavs, where Pavel Lungin's film "Tsar" was filmed. In the museum, you can try to bake bread, do handicrafts and get a better understanding of how our ancestors lived. And you can see many more interesting things on this tour.

Teacher: They will visit London, the famous London Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge. It is located not far from the Tower of London and connects the banks of the Thames. The structure of the bridge is quite complex: it is a drawbridge with two twin bridge towers. Its opening took place in 1894. The most popular attraction in the capital of the United Kingdom is the London Eye. The Ferris wheel attraction was opened in 2000. Its height is comparable to that of a 45-story building. The London Eye wheel is located on the south bank of the Thames and offers a bird's eye view of the main attractions of London. This and much more will be visited by our group.
