Dear [Alice|Mrs Lewis],
[Thanks a million|Thank you very much] for your invitation. I am writing to tell you about my travel arrangements so that you could know when I am coming.
I am arriving at Heathrow airport on the 10th of October. My flight lands at five-fifty in the afternoon. [It is very kind of you|It's great] to offer to pick me up from the airport but I have already arranged to take the bus to Bath. Perhaps, you could meet me at the bus station. I could phone you when I arrive.
[Finally|Now], I want to ask you a few questions. [Could you tell me|Let me know] what the weather is like in Bath in October? At the moment [I don't have a clue|I am not sure] which clothes to pack for my trip. [Do you have|Do you mind if I borrow] a computer or should I bring my own?
[Yours faithfully,|Best regards,]
Mary
