"Used to" & "be/get used to"
When you say "used to", you need to use an infinitive with it.
For example, "I used to be late for school before I started to travel there by bus".
When you say "be/get used to", you use either a gerund or a noun with it.
For example, "I'm used to going to school by bus. Mike's getting used to going to school by bus, too".
