Forming a Habit

How long does it take to form a habit? Psychologists say that you need 21 days to form a habit. What would you like to develop in yourself? Let's take a simple example. You are used to [stay up|staying up|stayed up|to stay up]late and oversleeping in the morning. And every school day, you enter your classroom after the ring. You can stop it! My friend Josh [use to|uses to|used|used to] eat plenty of fast food before he gained much weight. Josh began to have heart and breath problems, and his movements used to be very awkward. Then, for his birthday someone made an unusual present. They gave Josh a book saying how to fight your worst habits in 21 days. Josh [wasn't used|wasn't used to |wasn't|wasn't use] to sports, but how shocked I was to see him jogging the next day! The book had captured him, for sure. Now Josh is getting used to cooking healthy food that is rich in protein. And he [are also getting|is also getting|am also getting|is also] used to living without sugar. He says the first fifteen days were the hardest for him, but then everything got easier. So, according to the book, if you or one of your friends is used to oversleeping, they can stop it right now! And in 21 days, you'll enter your classroom in time and say, "I used [be|being|to be|to being]constantly late to school. But now it's over! Now I can throw away my alarm clock because I learnt to wake up early!"
