[ ] **** The height that some birds choose to fly in the sky is an indication of barometric pressure. If birds fly high in the sky, the pressure is high and the weather is going to be good. If birds fly lower in the sky, the pressure is low and bad weather is coming soon.
[ ] **** The colour of the moon can show future weather changes. In dry air (that represents good weather), the moon usually looks white. When the air becomes full of tiny water drops, it lets light through differently than in a dry atmosphere, and the moon seems redder. The water that makes the moon look red can be a sign of rising humidity, and rains coming soon.
[ ] **** When clouds are going against the direction of the wind, it is often because of a phenomenon called wind shear, in which the wind direction is different in the lower parts vs upper parts of the atmosphere.
