You are thinking about going in for sports. You tend to choose extreme sports, but your parents are against them. You want to sound convincing, and that is why you want to rehearse your speech before you talk to your parents. Write a report proving your decision about extreme sports (120–180 words). Write:

• the purpose of choosing a definite sport,
• two or three appropriate problems that might appear,
• a solution to each point,
• a conclusion with your opinion.

The aim of this report is to convince my parents to allow me to parachute.

Parachuting is dangerous: you may fall and be badly injured. Firstly, there is always a risk with any sport, even chess. Secondly, it is possible to find a good trainer with good recommendations.

People who parachute have to be physically strong. Although I am not fit enough, I would try to prepare for parachuting. We could find physical training classes for the newcomers. It will help me to get the needed physical strength.

Classes can be too expensive. For this reason, I could find a part-time job to earn money myself. I have a blog, which can be promoted and help me pay for the classes.

All in all, I feel that parachuting can help me to become stronger, and I will have a hobby that will improve my quality of life. The danger exists in every sphere of life, so there is always a risk in doing something.
