The country was reviving after the war, and a workforce was needed to build houses, provide research, and mine natural resources. People came to small towns and villages because they were offered something valuable, like accommodation or conveniences. C. Frequently, there was an agreement: a person had to work for a definite period to earn good money or improve their financial situation. Sometimes, it was a way to get a promotion. For instance, a young doctor got a work placement in a distant village, worked there for five years, and then returned to the city as a head of a department. D. Some people settled down and started their families. Almost every village of the past had a school, a shop and an infirmary. Thus, people had everything they needed for a while. They got used to living in their places, fresh air and their own products were healthy and cheap, and it was good for bringing up children. Then the children grew up and moved to cities to study. Their parents stayed in the villages and helped the newly minted students with food items and money, and they had no chance to leave their places. Later, they became too old to move and stayed in rural localities for good. E. But why do people come to the country? Why do some people change their urban lives to rural? The answer is that they get tired of poor ecology, low-quality food, and small flats. Sometimes, their health issues make them perform such a change. But according to many of those, they do not pity it. It seems the village may become fashionable again. And—who knows—maybe it will be hard to move there because of the competition. The thing is that a healthy lifestyle is becoming trendy today.
