Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park, the icon of the natural beauty of the USA, is situated in the central Sierra Nevada of California. It covers an area of 1187 square miles and is considered to be the World Heritage Site due A_____.

The park is rich in vegetation: there are five major vegetation zones: oak woodland, yellow pine forest, upper montane forest, alpine tundra with dwarf shrubs and subalpine zone with B_____ including different species of pines. The giant sequoia or giant redwood occur in groves on the western slopes of the California mountain range. The diversity of low coniferous forests provide habitats for numerous species of wild animals. There are black bears, racoons, C_____, skunks and much more.
