Strategies and useful tips
- Recommended time to fulfil is 10 minutes!
- First thing you need to do is to read the titles very carefully and translate them. Try to keep them in mind while doing the task.
- You don't need to read all the texts very carefully. Your aim is to understand the main idea.
- Most often key information can be found in the very first and last sentences of the texts.
- The heading must be the one that best covers the main topic, so you need to make sure that the heading you have chosen fits the meaning of the whole mini text, and doesn't just simply use some of the same words.
- Very often you will not find the same words in the texts and titles, so pay attention to synonyms.
- If necessary highlight the keywords in the texts.
- Remember! There is one extra title that you do not use.
- Old-fashioned way

- A boring option
- Great source of getting new experience

A. It is hardly possible to find a person nowadays who dislikes travelling. It is supposed to be the greatest source of getting new experience, becoming familiar with different cultures and just to entertain oneself. But not everybody can travel quite often as a tourist as it is time-consuming and costs a lot of money.
B. There are different ways people can explore the world. One of them is making travelling your profession. What does it mean? For instance, you can become a pilot or a flight attendant. Not always you will be able to spend a lot of time going sightseeing but anyway you can explore some popular places in so many different countries.
C. Could people imagine seeing the world without leaving their homes fifty years ago? Definitely not! But nowadays there are several online services that can allow you to choose almost any point on the Earth and see how it looks. Such services provide pictures and sometimes videos of those places. So, of course, it isn't the same as real travel but can also be enjoyed by people.
D. If you are not able to travel you can watch different travel blogs and programmes online. Nowadays being a travel blogger is a popular occupation. So it's not a big problem to find videos about popular sights in any country you like. It is even possible to find some information about indigenous places like tribes in Africa.
E. We should not forget about such sources of information like books. You are still able to find travel guides online and in bookstores. They contain a lot of interesting facts and contain nice pictures and photos. Unfortunately, sometimes this information can be out of date but still interesting to know.
F. People always consider travelling as something that happens abroad. How about exploring your local place? This type of holiday is called a staycation. As you can guess it is when you do not travel abroad but instead explore your hometown for example. It definitely costs less than usual travelling but still allows you to experience something new.
G. Nowadays people start creating more and more unusual ways of travelling. One of them is toy voyaging. Any ideas what it is? There is a service that allows you to get in touch with people from other countries who agree to receive your toy as a delivery. Then they take a photo of it near a famous sight and send the photo and the toy back to you. Doesn't it sound amazing?
