The average distance covered each day was nearly 70 km. The open roads and trails in Tanzania were awsome! Sections of the trails were very dusty and sandy, and it was mostly off the beaten track tour. I was tired in the end but it was worth it. I think it is a great experience not only to explore another country but to exercise at the same time! Speaker B My travel experience is not very impressive, but this summer I was exploring the fascinating underwater world in Anapa, Krasnodar region. Diving has always been my dream. Though I am not an experienced diver, I did my best to do it. The diving instructor was very professional and showed me all the necessary equipment. I managed to see where the Caucasian ridge starts under the water. Amazing! I highly recommend trying it! Speaker C As for me, my father took me with him to visit "Formula 1" races in Spain last year. Motorsport Formula 1 races often take place in glamorous cities, so in May we were at the Circuit de Catalunya where The Spanish Grand Prix took place. The atmosphere along the track was wonderful! The spectators were cheering the drivers up, and I was part of that crowd! And, of course, the smell of petrol never left me from then on! After the races, we decided to take a city break to Barcelona. The city is fabulous! Speaker D I prefer winter holidays and last season was not the exception when I visited Finland for a ski holiday. I think Finland is the best place to ski, as it has all the facilities to feel comfortable and enjoy this sport. We hired a large chalet that was fully catered. So, I enjoyed skiing straight from the door of my house! Some of my relatives didn't want to be hurtling down a mountainside, so they just enjoyed the views of the gorgeous snowscapes. Besides skiing, I tried snowboarding with an experienced instructor. I can't say I liked it, skiing is better for me. Speaker E My family likes beach holidays, and almost every summer we go to Turkey. We have visited many places there but my favourite one is the five-star hotel in Side. The city of Side has a long history and one part of it is a ruined ancient town. You know, all those ancient temples and columns. There is always something to see. My favourite place is a market. Always busy and buzzing 24 hours seven days a week! My mum is simply mad about haggling over the price with the locals! Fortunately, it is a part of the culture, so they are always ready to offer a better deal. Speaker F My last holiday was a "foodie" type. What does it mean? We travelled to Italy to learn to bake pizza and make pasta. Italians are very friendly and hospitable, and the cooking course was designed by the chef of one of Michelin restaurants. We also had some tasting sessions that were included in our tour. I felt as if I was a local! All these tasty aromas and herbs. My parents are travel addicts and that holiday was one from the series of "foodie" travels. Next time we are going to Spain to learn the art of tapas and paellas.
