Noun suffixes
We can use suffixes -hood, -ship, -ity, -ness, -tion, -age, -ment to form nouns:
- child + -hood = childhood;
- member + -ship = membership;
- national + -ity = nationality;
- calm + -ness = calmness;
- attract + -tion = attraction;
- marry + -age = marriage;
- announce + -ment = announcement.
Strike out the word in each line that cannot be used with the suffix given to form a noun.
