Read the texts (1—4) and some information on four people and decide to which places they will go for their holidays
People watch horse races^1 in many countries of the world. But if you want to see camel races, go to Saudi Arabia [ˈsaʊdi əˈreɪbiə]. In the Camel Cup^2 there are 15 camels. Some camels don't finish the race: they stop or sit down. It's very difficult to ride a camel. The best camel riders are women. They are lighter than men and camels like them more.
In London there is a very interesting place. Its name is Covent Garden. Some time ago it was a big vegetable market. Now there are shops, cafés, tea shops and coffee houses here. Some people come to Covent Garden to watch street artists and street dancers.
Ireland is a good place for holidays. Irish people are very friendly^3. They enjoy talking and like having parties. A lot of people come to Ireland because it is a very beautiful country with its green hills, woods and lakes. People in Ireland love singing and dancing. There are a lot of places where you can hear Irish music.
Yellowstone Park in the USA is a very interesting place. It has a big volcano [vɒlˈkeɪnəʋ]. This super volcano is deep under the ground^4 and people can't see it. What they can see is geysers [ˈɡi:zəz] of hot water.
