Read the text and fill in the gaps

All the planets of the Solar System have a number of common features: they move around the Sun in their orbits, revolve around their axes and have a solid core. But despite all this, there are two groups of planets. The first one includes the terrestrial planets — four planets located between the Sun and the asteroid belt. The second group includes the remaining four planets, which are called giant planets.

General characteristics of the terrestrial planets

The terrestrial group planets — Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars — are small in size and mass, the average density of these planets is several times higher than the density of water; they slowly revolve around their axes; they have few satellites (Mercury and Venus do not have them at all, Mars has two tiny ones, Earth has one). The terrestrial planets, like the Earth and the Moon, have hard surfaces.
