You don't need desperation to succeed but motivation
Desperate people are unable to identify or differentiate what is evil from what is morally right. Motivated people have a clarity of mind to create a long term vision for their life but desperate people desire to attain daily self-actualisation even at the destruction of their overall purpose. Motivated people [keep|stay|remain|take] their heads. It is desperation that results in skipping steps, while motivation makes you follow your own growth pattern. Desperate people often take a long time to realise that what they are doing is not their cup of [coffee|water|tea|juice].
Motivation draws inspiration from the need to be remembered for good. Some had so desired fame that the question of what to be known for became immaterial. They destroy multibillion-dollar structures, commit suicide, engage in robbery, [twirl|wind|twist|false] the truth, profane against God, and put themselves and loved ones in harm's way just in the [hopes|hope|belief|trust] that they become famous. Better to die of starvation than to feed on food that has been trodden underfoot by men. Better to remain on one spot than sponsoring a trip with funds obtained from people who beg to survive.
In all, be content with lack if the only road to abundance is the road of mischief. Going [under|through|in|along] these difficulties is the way of honesty and the character of kings.
