Saving the World's Oceans
We live in a world that is full of water. It is a well-known fact that the world's oceans take about 71 % of the earth's territory. They also take part in the mineral cycle of the planet. That is why the water condition influences the state of the dry land. It means it affects the cities and towns where people live. People should treat the water sources carefully.
One way to save the water sources in a satisfactory condition is to refuse to use plastic. It is dangerous to avoid recycling because many microplastic particles fall into the world's oceans and poison their inhabitants. As a result of refusing plastic, a variety of reusable things may become tradable. Thus, people will not have to pay large sums of money to buy disposable goods every year.
Another solution would be to tidy up after having a picnic at the seaside or on a riverbank. Every year a lot of leftovers are washed by the water. This food gets into the water, and the animals eat it. But our food is not suitable for them, and they can get poisoned. And the leftovers are not the worst trouble aquatic inhabitants may face. Plenty of plastic tubes and other plastic things get into the water after a picnic. Sometimes they get stuck in the animals' noses or stomachs if they had swallowed one.
Finally, it will be a positive change if people stop using wet napkins. Wet napkins are non-recyclable, but people use them in large quantities. A large amount of them falls into the world's oceans annually. Therefore, the water sources get polluted by wet napkins. Some of them are thrown into the water not on purpose, but the result is the same—the world's oceans become polluted with our rubbish.
To sum up, there is a list of ways of saving the surrounding waters. But ordinary people can neither clean nor filter them. These simple steps could help the earthlings to reduce pollution.
