Most people associate sport with drive, movement, energy, competition, extreme and adrenalin. As it turns out, not every kind of sport can meet such requirements. There are some competitions that not every person can watch with excitement. So, let's meet the three most boring sports to watch in the world.
Chess
If you don't know the rules, can't or do not like to play this game, watching it might be a real challenge. Two players with smart faces sit opposite each other and move the figures on a checkered board trying to beat each other. The end. The situation can be even worse if you take into account the duration of one match. Just imagine that the longest face-to-face game lasted 20 hours and 15 minutes!
Marathon
Long-distance running is another kind of a not too fascinating for spectators event. The traditional distance for runners is 42 kilometres 195 metres. So, to observe the whole competition from the beginning till the end, you must have remarkable willpower and … strong legs. As there are no seats for spectators, you'll have to stand on your feet till the end of the race.
Golf
This entertainment of rich people could be invented only by someone who likes peace and quiet. Imagine a player on a grass course going from hole to hole and trying to hit a ball into them. Don't forget about the assistant with the bag of clubs and balls, who continuously follows the player. Doesn't sound like fun, does it?
