Rafael was a regular customer at the first coffee shop in Moscow back in the late 1990s. The barista created a coffee with an espresso shot, 2 tablespoons of sugar and cream, all steamed together. Rafael really liked the drink. More and more people were coming to ask for the drink that month. And finally, the drink was included in the menu as "Raf Coffee", named after Rafael.

Now Raf Coffee is served in coffee shops all over Russia. The recipe [changed|has changed|had changed|changes], but the coffee is still adored by Russian coffee lovers.
