New Year
This holiday is loved and expected by everyone, especially children. It happens only once a year and carries magic and faith in a fairy tale. Many begin to prepare for it in advance, from the beginning of December. Personally, I really love to think of what gifts I will give to my family and friends, and what I will find under the tree on the morning of January 1st.
Families decorate a Christmas tree for the holiday. Many have toys inherited from great-grandmothers. In my opinion, they are the most valuable, because they carry a charge of good emotions and a festive mood for many years. There are also new toys, they are very beautiful, shiny and colourful. Each of them is very interesting to consider and choose a place for it on the tree.
On this very night, it is customary to make wishes. It must be done in time while the chimes are striking, so I seriously think about wishes in a few days so as not to miss my chance. I sincerely believe that they will definitely come true.
I also really like to watch how festive fireworks are launched. The whole sky is illuminated with multi-coloured flashes and becomes light for several minutes, almost like daytime. Bengal lights are lit in the house, creating an even more festive atmosphere.
New Year is definitely my favourite holiday. It is filled with joy, fun and hope.
