Living in the countryside is full of calmness and rest. You can enjoy nature, fresh air, quiet and calm, and natural products. People in villages are very simple, kind and hospitable. They are more friendly and calm, they don't hurry and their routine isn't so busy.

When I was a child I spent my summers in the countryside with my grandmother. She was a very polite and beautiful woman. There was no internet and no social media, so my only entertainment was reading books. I woke up early, had breakfast with grannie, helped her with household chores and started reading. Near the house there was a small but nice garden. That was my favourite place. I could read for hours, interrupting only for food. Another favourite activity in the countryside was riding a bike. I love it even in the city, but in the countryside you enjoy it. You are riding through the fields of sunflowers, corn, enjoying the sun and the murmur of the river. Isn't it a paradise?

Now there is no country house and no grandmother. I miss her a lot. But these memories about my wonderful childhood warm my heart. Every time when I get tired of city's hustle and bustle, I try to go to the nearest village—just walk, sleep, read and ride the bike. It's the best type of holiday for me.
