Script
Monica:

I can't ever resist buying new clothes and shoes or going to the cinema with my friends. I love being in different places and having new emotions. But sometimes I don't have enough money. My parents are very rich, so I ask them to give me extra pocket money. It's cool that I can spend as much as I want.

George:

I'm a student abroad so I have to survive in a new country on my student loan. It's not very difficult because I don't like spending money on unnecessary things. I spend it on food, bus fares and household bills. My parents come to visit me twice a year and they bring me new clothes and shoes. So I have everything I need.

Emily:

I'm a real bookworm. I like going on shopping sprees and buying new books. But I'm at High School, so I need to save up some money for college. I have a huge library, so I'm thinking of selling it to earn money for my education.

Mike:

I have moved to another city and now I'm making ends meet by doing different jobs. I'm a tutor, a babysitter and a dog-walker. Sometimes I'm working as a shopping assistant in the mall near my house. Our best consumers are teenagers: they spend so much money on games, sweets and clothes. It's not good, but I'm happy because my salary depends on sales.
