Комментарий для учителей: Дорогие наши коллеги! Мы предлагаем вам ознакомиться с уроком на тему "Культурный уголок". В нём три текста. Первые четыре шага (1-4) относятся к тексту 1, второе (5) - ко второму тексту по биографии писателя, следующие три (6-8) - к тексту 3, являющимся его произведением. Последние два задания (9-10) нацелены на отработку письма. Задания, идущие к этим текстам, взаимосвязаны для того, чтобы вам и обучающимся было удобнее работать с ними. Задания на письмо можно использовать в качестве инструкции и шаблона для написания обучающимися своего текста.

Choose the correct options

When you write a for-and-against [composition|essay], you have to follow definite rules. There you [ignore|discuss]the pros and cons of a chosen issue.

Such an essay includes an [essay|introduction]presenting the topic, the [main|major]body in two paragraphs containing pluses and minuses of the issue, and a [conclusion|ending] where you summarise the issue. In the introduction, write a [rhetorical|general]question. In the main body, remember to support each point with arguments or [examples|jokes].

Use [formal|informal]language for writing for-and-against essays. [Avoid|Include]shortenings, as well.
