| B) Have you ever travelled by reindeer or dog sledges, bamboo trains or toboggans, coco taxis or cable cars? These are all various means to get from one destination to another. If for some people they are weird and unusual, for others they are only one way to travel or commute. Some vehicles have become a kind of tourist attractions, some are used by local people every day. | ||
| C) Children are taught to be environmentally friendly and try to do their best to protect nature and green areas around them at school. However, this kind of knowledge causes a new type of psychological problem. Schoolchildren worry about the future of Earth too much. It leads to fear and anxiety. It is particularly important to teach children not only about climate change or the lack of fresh air and clean water but also how to overcome difficulties and think about solutions. | ||
| D) Ask any teenager about their school uniform and you will get a negative answer. On the one hand, school uniform makes schoolchildren equal and there is no competition. On the other hand, youngsters lose their opportunity to express themselves. What we wear is important and sometimes helps us to show our inner feelings. | E) China is not the biggest country in the world but its population is huge. Every fifth person on the Earth is Chinese. For almost 15 % of people, the Chinese language is native. Like Russia, China has borders with 14 countries. Isn't it amazing? The most ridiculous fact about this China is that rich people grow nails to show their fortune. Moreover, behaviour is different. If in most countries yawning and spitting are bad manners, in China, they are absolutely acceptable. |
