First, at school children learn to read and write. They usually have one teacher who teaches several subjects. Then they begin to study a lot of subjects like maths, biology, arts and others. They have different teachers. A teacher of history teaches history, a teacher of geography teaches geography and so on. To know what subject they have during the day they look at the timetable. Between the lessons pupils have breaks to have a rest and to get to the next classroom. After school pupils do homework. If they don't do their homework, they get bad marks. At the end of the year they take exams. If they pass their exams, they go to the next class. But if they fail the exam, they repeat the same year.
