Every January before Lent, the city of New Orleans is crowded with hundreds of people celebrating one of the most [ ] carnivals in the world called Mardi Gras.
Mardi Gras is a festival of music, parades, floats and [ ].

Mardi Gras could hardly be imagined without "krewes", clubs [ ] a parade or a ball during the carnival season. There are over 50 krewes in New Orleans.
According to the tradition of "beads and throws", the "krewes" throw home-made [ ], beads of all shapes, doubloons, cups and toys into the crowd. Experienced revellers take a big bag to [ ] all the baubles they catch from the parade.
