Jack: Hi, Mum!
Mother: Oh, hi, Jack! How was your interview?
Jack: Well, it has just finished...
Mother: You don't sound very enthusiastic. Did it [ ]?
Jack: Not really... At first, they asked weird questions, like where I was born, what my university was like and if I was [ ] there or not. I wasn't ready for that! I thought they would be interested in my [ ].
Mother: Well, they probably wanted to learn some facts about your background and your environment. What did you answer?
Jack: I don't remember really….em... Still, that was not the worst part!
Mother: Oh, OK, tell me more.
Jack: I was filling a form, some kind of psychological test when [ ] the guy ran into the room and shouted "Get out!" on top of his voice! I was speechless. I'd been sitting with my eyes wide-open for a minute or two before I could [ ].
Mother: And what did you say?
Jack: I said, "Excuse me?"
Mother: And…?
Jack: And he repeated, "I said get out!". I told him that I'd been told to stay in this room and there must have been [ ]. I also added that he had to talk to the HR manager who had interviewed me.
Mother: And what happened then?
Jack: The guy was really surprised! He [ ] didn't see that coming. He replied nothing and left. Then the HR manager came in and congratulated me.
Mother: Congratulated you? On what?
Jack: That situation turned out to be a stress test! Can you imagine?
Mother: You're joking!
Jack: That was exactly what I told him! You know, Mum, although I've passed the stress test [ ], I don't think I want to work for the company which tests their potential employees this way.
Mother: If it makes you feel uncomfortable, you don't have to [ ]. I'm sure you can find a better vacancy. Still, I'm so proud of you that you could [ ] with that test.
Jack: Thanks, Mum. And thank you for your support.
Mother: You're welcome.
