Write the surname of the author of the third theory of the origin of emotions
Scientists and psychologists distinguish three main models of the origin of emotions. These theories were formulated in the past centuries. So, let's turn to each of the models and try to understand what emotions come from where.
- The model of Ch. Osgood is based on a factor analysis of psychosomatic data and places emotions on three axes: a) satisfaction — dissatisfaction; b) power — weakness; c) activity — passivity. Therefore people can be divided into small groups and all people will have absolutely different emotions. In this case, it's very difficult to find someone with the "pack" of emotions similar to yours.
- The theory of differential emotions (Ch. Darwin and K. Izard). Different emotions have different origins. Moreover, there is an emotional basis and such a basis can produce new emotions. Sometimes different people have different emotions in the same situation, and this case is about personal feelings.
- The model of G. Schlosberg is based on the idea that all emotions can be located on two axes: a) satisfaction — dissatisfaction; b) acceptance — rejection. In other words, we can be completely happy, or, on the other hand, absolutely depressed. In this case, the balance of emotions is something unachievable.
The authors of the three most significant theories of the origin of emotions are Darwin and Izard, Osgood and [ ].
