You have received an informal letter from your English-speaking penfriend Rita who writes:

Hi, sis!

How's it going?

Today it's raining [ ]. I can't go out even for a minute without getting wet! Did I tell you I took a dog? He's so [ ] and small—it's a Chihuahua. I called him Jack, and he is [ ] of me! Jack wants [ ] to go for a walk today, but he gets wet and jumps back home.

How're your parents doing? Will they let you come to visit me this summer?

We've moved to a new bigger house recently. I will let you live in my room with me. What fun [ ] to have together!

Not so far, I heard there was a special exchange program for [ ]! Where are you going to study? I chose an Arts college, and I was [ ] lucky to have it in my town. Now I won't go and live far from my family—you know how I'm attached to my sister. Do you remember her? Her name's Jill and she is only a year younger than me. Maybe she'll move to another place after she finishes school. But this year we're spending together. She's good at Physics. And she's also extremely smart, so maybe she'll go to Cambridge. Anyway, I wish her all the best because I love her so much.

Please, write back if you're going to come next year.

[ ]!

Rita.
