Different Types of Mindwork

Everybody's mind works in a different way. You can see that in any learning situation. For example, at university, when a professor explains new concepts, some students pick them [over|on|up|down] really fast, while others take a while to catch [off|up|over|on].Some people like to analyse the new concept in smaller chunks and then gradually piece them together. And some people suffer because they take longer to keep [on|down|up|in]with the rest.

What's interesting is that some people who find it difficult to follow other people's ideas are sometimes just independent thinkers who find it easier to come up with their own original ideas. Often they are incapable [off|in|of|on]knowing how they hit on a solution to a problem—they simply follow their intuition. Answers just leap out at them from nowhere. Personally, I find it useful to talk things [in|up|again|through] with a friend.
