Условные придаточные предложения смешанного типа / Mixed Conditional Sentences
Условные придаточные предложения смешанного типа выражают:
— нереальность содержания условного предложения в прошлом и нереальность содержания главного предложения в настоящем периоде времени: If I had taken a course of Chinese at the university, I would have more job opportunities now;
— нереальность содержания условного предложения в настоящем периоде времени (в широком смысле) и нереальность содержания главного предложения в прошлом: If my dad were rich, he would have bought the Ferrari that we saw in the car showroom last month.
Примечание: в зависимости от отнесённости условного придаточного предложения или главного предложения к прошедшему или настоящему периоду времени в них используется перфектное прошедшее время (отнесённость к прошлому) или прошедшее простое время (отнесённость к настоящему периоду времени).
