Script Nick: Harry, I am making a survey for our school newspaper. Can you please help me and answer several questions?

Harry: No problem.

Nick: Thanks a lot! Could you tell me something about your weekends?

Harry: Sure. Well... they tend to be very busy. Er, you know I like to... er... have a good time. I am very busy during the week and I don't have any spare time to spend with my family, so when the weekend comes we like to really let loose and we try very hard to have a good time.

Nick: What sort of things do you do?

Harry: Well, let's see. Saturday morning. That's the time for cleaning the house, washing the car, doing the laundry and then it's usually time to go out for lunch. Or maybe a brunch, it depends on the time. Brunch is becoming more popular on Sunday, by the way, mostly among British people.

Nick: Yes.

Harry: After lunch, maybe we'll go for a walk on the beach, or play tennis, or go for a run, you know, Saturday afternoon is a time to play, really. And then in the evening we sometimes go to a film.

Nick: Uhm... What about Sunday?

Harry: Well, on Sundays my dad gets an enormous pile of newspapers delivered and I usually help him with it. We just... er... sit in the garden over a cup of tea, with maybe a continental breakfast and read the newspapers.

Nick: Relax.

Harry: That's it. Then it's time for brunch. It is the time for all the family, grandparents and children. We usually go out to some restaurant that overlooks the ocean and can spend two hours or more over it. It's a huge meal. You have all breakfast things, of course, and then you can have all sorts of salads.

Nick: Are they expensive, these places?

Harry: No, you pay a fixed price usually and you can eat as much as you like.

Nick: It's wonderful! What about Sunday evening then?

Harry: Well, on Sunday evening we're quite down a bit. It's time to get ready for Monday. I do my homework. Prepare for another week. So, we usually have an early night. Maybe watch a little TV.

Nick: I see. That's very interesting. Thank you very much, Harry.
