The strategy of 3Rs — Reduce, Reuse and Recycle — helps to control the amount of waste people throw away. It saves energy and natural, reduces pollution and the need for landfill sites.

1. the waste we can produce. How to do that? Shop carefully. Avoid overpackaging and goods, which are difficult to recycle. Focus your attention on buying durable goods, the ones that can carry good warranties. A good idea is to buy products in larger, economy size packaging.

2. products in different ways. It is economic and environmentally sensible. Use plastic containers and paper bags, repair broken toys or furniture. If it is possible, sell old clothes, devices in or ads, donate them to charities.

3.. Buy goods made from recycled materials and use recycled things too. Explore your neighbourhood to find recycling centres and to see what they accept. These can be cans, newspapers, glass, plastic or batteries.

These simple recommendations can be the first step to solve the problem of rubbish pollution and pressure on the ecosystem on the whole.
