A) I'm James, and I live with my wife Nancy and our kids in the countryside not far from York. We moved here when my first daughter was born six years ago. Before that, we had a house in London, where my parents still live. I don't visit them very often because of my work, but I have a younger brother who also lives in London with his second wife. He looks after our parents, so I don't have to worry. My brother's daughter is the same age as my kids, and they get on pretty well. It's a pity we live quite far. However, we have a good tradition in our family. We rent a small house somewhere near the coast and spend time together for a month or so. My kids love that very much, even though it happens not very often.
B) I'm Kelly, from Paris, France, and I have an unusual family. My sister Sarah and I live with our dad Sam because several years ago our parents got divorced. We chose to stay with dad not because we love him more than our mum, but because he felt very lonely and we didn't want to leave him alone. He doesn't mind that we stay with our mum Megan from time to time. She is remarried now to a man called Tim. Tim's got a son from his first marriage, and we now have a stepbrother. They're a good couple, and we're really happy for our mum. Her new family lives outside the city, so Sarah and I visit them mostly on weekends or on holidays. We've just heard that mum's pregnant. We'll have a half-sister very soon. Amazing!
