Where Nightmares Come From?

Sometimes a person has such terrible dreams that he wakes up in a sweat, in tears, trembling with horror. Anyone at least once in his life had a nightmare. Some people endure it calmly, and those who love horror movies may even enjoy it. If the subconscious mind shows terrible pictures regularly, in this case, we are probably talking about neurosis.

Two lobes of the brain are responsible for the occurrence of nightmares, which work in reality when a person is afraid. One part assesses the felt emotions, the other prepares to react as adequately as possible in response to danger.

A person who sees nightmares is knowingly preparing to survive the troubles in reality. But not just to survive, but to do it with dignity, correctly, and most importantly, adequately reacting to the difficulties that arise. Sometimes these dreams are meant to help the person work through long-standing fears, phobias or memories. However, he does not always cope on his own, it happens that he needs a specialist who will help to deal with the problem.

Walking or talking during dreams speak of certain disorders of the nervous system, in which a person cannot completely turn off physical-motor activity and continues to control his own body. Although in a normal situation, this should not be.
