Money is an issue everyone worries about. Throughout the times people used different forms of money from shells and beads to metal coins, paper notes and electronic money.

Forms of money have changed a lot of times, and this tendency is still relevant today. With the development of new technologies, hard cash doesn't seem to be the best option any more. Electronic money is going to take the leading role within just a decade or even less. So, what is the rush to get rid of cash?

Cash money requires a lot of care. You need to print the notes, to transport them in armored trucks, store them in a safe place. All these operations are pretty expensive for the government. But the cost is not the only reason for using electronic money. The demand of easy-to-use ways of payments is rising from day to day. Besides, digital money is easy to control.

The downside of working with digital money is that the personal information can get into the wrong hands. It can mean that people risk to lose all their savings or even get into debts. Banks also worry about a threat of cyber attacks which can have unexpected forms and therefore can be unpredictable. In addition to that, there are some categories of people which find it hard to use electronic money and online banking service.Nevertheless, today many countries are going towards electronic money. The question is how safe it is going to be.
