What Is Going to Happen if We Don't Stop Now?
Scientists are researching the impact of people and their demands. In recent decades thousands of animal species have been lost due to other ecological problems of today: global warming, pollution of land, water and air, destruction of animals' habitats. But the main threat is the overpopulation and overconsumption. Every action against ecology leads to the next step of mass extinction. The last period of extinction was 65 million years ago. It was the end of the dinosaur era when mammals and humans survived.
Do we really want this to happen? We forget that this land is our home and nature shouldn't be only the source to meet our needs. What do you suggest we can do?
The result of negative human population expansion is going to be
- total destruction of flora and fauna
- just another step in the history of extinction
- disappearing of humans as species
