Read the text about a ghost town and find a word for each definition in it. Write all the nouns in singular; write all the verbs in infinitive.
Garnet is a town in the United States. More than 1,000 people lived there. Most of them, mostly men, worked in the mines. However, during World War I and World War II many workers went to war. Others wanted to stay, but there was nothing for them to do. So all the citizens left the place.
Today, nearly 30 buildings remain, and an annual Garnet Day allows visitors to experience life in this 19th-century mining town.
