Read the information and choose the correct words to complete the sentences

Trip, travel or journey?

These three words are easy to misuse. Let's make sure that you can use them right!

Travel (v) — we generally use it as a verb. e.g. I travelled to Thailand last year. It was amazing! We can also use "travel" in common collocations, i.e. travel agency, business travel, space travel. For an exact experience, use the word "trip". My travel to Thailand was amazing!My trip to Thailand was amazing!

Trip (n) — a general experience of going to one place and coming back. e.g. How was your trip to Thailand?

Journey (n) — moving from one place to another. Journey is not the whole trip, just the part when you change your location. e.g. — How was your journey? — It was terrible! We had a flat tire on the way from Moscow to Kaluga.
