Read the blog post and choose the correct options

Hi guys!

Today I want to share my recent experience of taking part in a yoga class. Hope it'll be interesting for all of you! However, I guess some of you are wondering: why did I decide to go to a yoga class? Let me fill you in.

Last year I [reading|read|had read|had been reading] various books and articles about the positive effects of yoga on a human body. I [was getting|had been getting|have got|had got] deeper and deeper into the topic with every new book. However, I couldn't find enough courage to start practicing. I thought the art of yoga was too complicated for me and I [feel|was feeling|had felt|felt]embarrassed.

Finally, I decided to try. Last week I looked up all yoga studios in the neighbourhood and chose one of them. I checked the schedule and went to my first class. It was a group class for 5 people.

When I arrived in the class, I realised that I [forgot|forget|had forgotten|had been forgetting] my yoga mat at home. Everybody had their own one except me! Fortunately, the yoga coach Victoria agreed to lend me a mat.

Victoria greeted everybody and turned on some calm music. The class started. I did my best to repeat poses and movements but I felt pretty clumsy. When I [was doing|did|am doing|do] warrior poses, I fell down on a mat. Victoria came to me and helped me to get up. She explained what my mistake was and asked me to repeat one more time. And that time I succeeded!

At the end of the class we did shavasana pose. And that [were|is|was|been]the best one for me! Do you wonder what it's like? Simply lying on your back with your eyes closed. Definitely my favourite!

After the class all the participants thanked Victoria and walked away. I did the same. But you know what? When I went out of the studio, I felt different. My mind was clear and my body felt extremely light while I [were walking|walk|was walking|had been walking] back home.

So, that's the story of how I decided to start attending yoga classes. I feel great after overcoming my fear and finally starting a new hobby.
