Read and remember the rules

To make most comparative and superlative adjectives we add -er / -est or use more / the most.

        big — bigger — the biggest

expensive — more expensive — the most expensive

	Irregular adjectives
Good — better — the best	This is the best lot.
Bad — worse — the worst	It was the worst auction.
Far — further — the furthest	Contact the clerk for further information.
Far — farther — the farthest	The auction building is the farthest one.
Old — elder — the eldest	He is my elder brother.
Old — older — the oldest	This is the oldest object in the auction.

You can use these words to modify comparative adjectives:

much      a lot      a bit      a little      far

Let's buy the celebrity breakfast. It's much cheaper.
