A. The University of Iceland is situated in Reykjavik, the most northern capital in the world. It was founded in 1911 with forty-five students who started studying law, theology, humanities, and medicine. Nowadays it’s the largest university in the country with about fourteen thousand students and a great number of faculties. The climate of the country gives great opportunities for geological research. Nordic Volcanological Centre operates there as well.

B. Lomonosov Moscow State University was founded in 1755 in Moscow, Russia. It’s got more than forty thousand students, and it invites about four thousand international students per year.
