Dear Jess,

How are you? I'm sorry I 1) _ (not/write) to you for a while, but I 2) _ (be) really busy. Let me tell you my news. I 3) _ (start) at the local 6th form college last September, and I 4) _ (study) for my A' levels at the moment. I 5) _ (become) a lawyer when I grow up, so I'll have to work hard and pass all my exams to get into a good university.

My other news is that I have a new pet dog. I 6) _ (have) him for two months now and he's really cute but sometimes a little naughty. For example, while I 7) _ (walk) him in the park yesterday, he 8) _ (run) off and it 9) _ (take) me an hour and a half to find him again.
