Bullying on the Internet can be very different. There are several important definitions to help you understand the categories of online violence. If "bullying" is a display of physical or psychological violence towards others in general, then "cyberbullying" is the same violence, only in the digital world.

It is important to remember that bullying is more of a general definition for different types of harmful actions. Cyberbullying is a type of violence in the digital environment, expressed through electronic text, messages, and comments.

Cyberbullying is causing harm to a person through lasting pressure in the Internet space: harassment, spreading rumors, threats, etc.

Sometimes cyberbullying can go offline. Many bloggers and public figures are faced with cyberstalking. This is a form of violence where followers track down influencers and start harassing them outside of social media.

The inference questions are:

  • What does bullying display?
  • How do you know that cyberbullying is done via the internet?
  • Where is cyberbullying used?
  • What is more likely true about cyberbullying from the text?
  • Is cyberstalking a type of cyberbullying?
  • What could be concluded from the last paragraph about cyberstalking?
  • How do we understand that there are many types of bullying?
