Oh, I really hate bugs and insects! I'm so scared of them! Once, I was visiting my grandparents on a farm. Granny asked me to water the vegetables and other greenery which grew in their garden. I went to a dill and parsley patch, and then I saw a giant caterpillar on a dill stem! It was fat and striped green! And it had… you know, like two tiny orange tentacles under its mouth. The next time I had to water the garden, I was dying of fear!

My dad is a scientist on insects, and I've known about them since early childhood. The first place I went out with dad was the museum of insects. Am I afraid of bugs or other living things like them? No, I'm not! My father is a great storyteller. He made up stories about every little creature I had been interested in, which made me not be scared of their look. They are so tiny, how can they harm anyone?

When my elder daughter was little, she was afraid of any bug or insect she saw. Her fear became panic. I was learning to sew those days. That's why I decided to combine business with pleasure. I found some toy patterns on the internet and sewed her a bunch of toys looking like real insects and other little things like a snail. I used my old dresses because I was afraid to spoil the new fabric. We had a ladybird, snail, moth, butterfly, and a spider in our collection, besides various beetles. My little daughter was so excited to meet her new "friends"! And soon, her fears disappeared.

I don't get crazy when I see insects, but I feel disgusted by seeing fleas in my dog's fur. I have a Caucasian Shepherd, he is rather fuzzy. Like all giant breeds, he spends plenty of time outside. And sometimes, I find those tiny little things that are exceedingly nasty! We have to buy special collars, combs, and cosmetics, but the uninvited guests come back all the time!

My friends are fond of travelling. Once, they went to Thailand, where they tried fried cockroaches and other insects. I don't really know if the local people eat those, but it's a popular street food that is sold everywhere. The experts say such food is rich in protein, but I wouldn't try it even if it helped to save eternal youth! But my friends told me the taste was okay. However, they said they didn't want to buy this dish again, though.
