The rapid development of technology has introduced new ways of exploring space by ordinary people. Some decades ago, scientists were considering the possibility of spending leisure time on the moon or travelling to destinations popular for stargazing. Unfortunately, neither of these predictions have come true yet but it may not mean it is possible in the future.
Commercial flights into space with curious tourists in spacesuits have been organised by many space-related companies. Some of them managed to send the world's first private explorers into space. Each person paid millions of dollars for their 10-day trip to the International Space Station.
Although this type of travelling may seem unaffordable, several companies are working to find it possible to enable tourists to visit space. The possible trip involves experiencing weightlessness and a view of the stars at a height of 160 km above earth and costs around $200,000 per person.
Despite the advantage of being a unique experience, space tourism is considered to be one of the most unusual attractions where a tourist has to pay a lot for the trip of a lifetime. Though many people are dreaming of leaving a step in the history of mankind, it is only affordable for the superrich.
