Choose the correct options

I've always adored cars. Not only fancy Ferraris and Mustangs but also humble Toyotas and Fords. I believe any car is a masterpiece.

When I finished school, I knew what my goal would be. I wanted to get a driving licence [because|Although|as soon as|so|Nonetheless|but|If] I turned 18. I also planned to save some money and buy a car as soon as possible. [because|Although|as soon as|so|Nonetheless|but|If] I didn't tell anyone about my plan, my parents got me a driving course with an instructor for my 17th birthday. I was on cloud nine. I was learning how to drive for several months and got my driving licence the next day after I turned 18.

I also planned to buy my first car. I didn't really fancy blogging, streaming and all other things my peers loved doing. [because|Although|as soon as|so|Nonetheless|but|If],  I was really good at mechanics. I decided to get a part-time job as an assistant to a mechanic, [because|Although|as soon as|so|Nonetheless|but|If] I just walked into the service station not far from home and asked if they needed a hand. Luckily, they did. One day a man came in to fix his car. We chatted a bit and it turned out he was going to sell his old Toyota Corolla. I realised it was my chance! I had to bargain a little, but the man didn't mind as he was sure the car was in good hands.

That's how I got my first car. I'm 25 now and I drive a new Camry, [because|Although|as soon as|so|Nonetheless|but|If] the memories of my first car still warm my heart.
