Hi everyone! How is it going? Is everything alright?

You asked me a lot about my cat Karma, so in this post I want to fill you in and ask for your help.

As some of you guys know, I [had been taking|take|took|had taken] a cat three weeks ago. Before that, I [had been looking for|looked for|was looking for|have looked for] a purebred cat for several months, but then I saw a small female cat on a veterinary centre's Instagram account, and I [can't|couldn't|canned|hadn't can] stand the idea of not meeting her! That was love at first sight, so I decided to adopt that cat.

The first several days were going totally fine. I gave the cat her new name, Karma. (To be honest, I have no clue why I picked such a weird name, but I think it suits her.) Karma behaved well and I [hadn't had|hadn't|didn't have|wasn't having] any problems with taking care of her. She [had learnt|learnt|was learning|had been learning] everything quickly, and I even trained her to jump, sit and bring her toys on command. (You can check some videos in the previous post!)

However, it has changed recently. About a week ago my mum [come|comes|had come|came] to visit me, and Karma didn't like her! She seemed to be extremely annoyed and nervous. She didn't react to any of my commands or attempts to comfort her. The only thing she wanted was attacking my mum again and again! Karma tried to bite or scratch her even when my mum [was reading|read|had been reading|had read] calmly sitting in an armchair! And the most important thing: my mum didn't have a negative attitude to my cat. On the contrary, she adores animals.

Thus, I need to find a way to calm my cat down. Please, share a contact of a decent specialist who can help or some other pieces of advice. I'd really appreciate any help! My mum visits me only for a couple of weeks twice a year, so I don't want to spoil the time that we spend together.

I guess that's all for the moment. I'm looking forward to receiving your advice as soon as possible! Please leave a comment below or DM me.
