A. There are many kinds of career paths a person will have to choose from. For instance, there are highly-paid but monotonous jobs that have uninteresting work tasks. The salary can be fantastic; however, it may still not be motivational. Another kind of job is a low-paid one, but with better career prospects or unusual projects to participate in. This could be a preferred option since it may pay more over time.
B. Some teenagers appear to enjoy having pocket money to spend on their activities and hobbies. An advantage is that it gives them some experience with money and the freedom to do things and buy what they want. It can help them to gain independence and skills that they could use as adults. However, a disadvantage is that some teenagers focus too much on their money, and it could cause worry and distract them from their schoolwork.
C. It is possible to monetize your hobby and make a career based on it. Some people say that when their hobby turns into work and brings them money, then it is not a hobby anymore, but it becomes an ordinary job. On the one hand, it is profitable and appears to bring in a good salary, but, on the other hand, the hobby can no longer be exciting, thus becoming just another routine job. A hobby is an activity that should bring joy and excitement to your life.
D. Summer jobs that teenagers could do are a wonderful way to earn some pocket money. Babysitting and being a video editor or blogger are two popular ways thanks to which teenagers can earn money. Many teenagers enjoy doing arts and crafts and could sell their creations on online marketplace sites. Creating media content such as videos and photos can be another way for teens to earn at the same time they go to school and during summer breaks.
E. Going to a job interview could make people nervous, so that they cannot answer the questions which makes it difficult for the interviewer to hire them. People may not pass the interview because they did not do research beforehand about the company. If you look for the information, then you will not be stuck with not knowing how to reply. Some people may also have problems at the interview because they did not meet the skill requirements or were late showing up on the day of the interview on time.
F. There are many reasons why people can be fired from their jobs. Some people are fired because they lack work experience or may not have enough qualifications to continue. While sometimes it is the fault of the employee, for instance, if they have done something wrong. The employer usually gives a warning before they fire the worker to give them another chance. If the employee keeps doing the wrong thing, then they obviously must leave.
G. Practicing answering the questions beforehand when you have a job interview could help you prepare your answers and build up confidence when you go. Besides, visiting the company's website and social media pages will give you valuable information to use in your answers. This could certainly be a way to impress the interviewer and a potential employer. Also, it can be a great idea to show your interest in working for the company as attitude could be a make-or-break situation in getting hired.
