Disney’s New Trends

Entertainment giant Disney has announced that it intends to start its new
broadcasting service next year. Subscription prices will be much
lower than those of Netflix, a company which as well offers a streaming
service, and other competitors. But
Disney’s new service will not be able to win Netflix as far as the number of films goes.
In addition to showing
films, Disney is also planning the production of a new Star Wars trilogy, a Star Wars TV series and
several Marvel movies. The
company is also working on TV adaptations of Pixar’s Monsters, Inc.
Disney is also thinking of another project which is
possible to launch next year. It will show many sports events including
baseball, soccer and others.
Netflix has been broadcasting Disney and Pixar content for several years all
over the world including Russia and China. Now Disney wants to pull their
own content from its services. A survey made shortly
after the announcement of
the new filming platform shows that two out of ten Netflix users are
willing to switch to
Disney. So, next year you may be one of those!
