(1) Finally, the problem of part-time work for teenagers has been widely discussed recently. (2) When I was working on a project on what part-time jobs are popular among teenagers, I has found the results of an opinion poll. (3) As a part of my project, I will analysed this information and came across some interesting facts.
(4) According to the statistics presented in the table, modern teenagers have a fairly wide range of part-time jobs they can choose from. (5) The majority of the questioned (37%) prefer working as a camp counsellor. (6) Furthermore, the jobs of a shop assistant or a tutor are not so popular among teenagers and were named by only 10% and 14% of the respondents respectively.
(7) Studying the table thoroughly one can see that working as a dog walker is more than twice as popular as doing the job of a shop assistant (22% and 10% respectively). (8) I believe teenagers are preferred to be dog walkers because it involves less responsibility than a job of a shop assistant.
(9) Although it appears to be useful for teenagers to gain work experience, they may face some problems while work part-time. (10) One of the main issues is that work can be time-consuming and tiring for teenagers. (11) Consequently, this can affects the process of getting knowledge in a negative way as well as lead to poor academic performance. (12) The best solution to this problem are to find a job that will take a small amount of time. (13) Thus, it will not distract teenagers from their studies.
(14) In conclusion, I am thoroughly convinced that in spite of some issues associated with working while studying it can be highly beneficial for teenagersbecause they can gain useful work experience and earn money.
