A Naughty Princess

Once upon a time, there lived a king who had an only daughter. She was gorgeous. The princess had long golden hair, blue eyes and a slim figure. But she also had two disadvantages. She was lazy and naughty. The king was having a problem finding a teacher for her. His kingdom was in a small country in Europe, very far from civilization.[But how surprised|On a sunny day,|Was still illiterate|Suddenly|And in those|Alas,|He promised]times, people had neither cars nor planes to get anywhere quickly.

So, as soon as the princess turned sixteen, she[but how surprised|on a sunny day,|was still illiterate|suddenly|and in those|alas,|he promised]. She could neither read nor write. The girl wasn't even able to count to ten. By that time, the young lady became strong, and she beat her teachers when they wanted her to remember the simplest things. Her father made new people come to teach his daughter only by force: nobody wanted to do it at their will. As the princess began to act rudely, they ran away and changed their names so the king could not find them.

One day, an ordinary and humble man came to the king's palace. "I will teach your daughter,"[but how surprised|on a sunny day,|was still illiterate|suddenly|and in those|alas,|he promised].When he started his first lesson, the princess began to yell. By this, she wanted to disrupt the class. But the new teacher stayed calm and continued. Then he asked her to write her name on the blackboard. The princess shrieked with laughter and clenched her fists. She was getting ready to fight if needed.

[But how surprised|On a sunny day,|Was still illiterate|Suddenly|And in those|Alas,|He promised]the teacher began to grow, and soon he became a giant. The princess was about ten times smaller than the teacher. "If you don't listen to me, I will turn you into a small and miserable animal! Choose what you want to become: a frog or a rat?!" The princess was extremely frightened. She wanted to take the stand, but the giant was much more powerful than her father. So, she had to obey.

Later that day, the king came to the classroom thinking his daughter was yelling or beating her new teacher. He was sure she hadn't learnt a thing, as always.[But how surprised|On a sunny day,|Was still illiterate|Suddenly|And in those|Alas,|He promised]the king got when he found the princess writing a simple text with crooked letters and sitting as quiet as a mouse. She looked humble and a bit sad. The teacher was satisfied. And the king was very proud of his beautiful and clever daughter.
